Learn all about the keying tools in After Effects CS3 that allow you to shoot something practically and then cut out or isolate a single object.  Total Training shows you how it`s done with an overview of the basic keying effects, then walks you through more advanced topics including compositing with keys, rotoscoping with masks and paint tools, cropping with keylight, and much more.

In this clip, host Ko Maruyama covers the color range in 3D text. He works in the camera orbit tool as well as the camera control properties in the timeline. He then shows how to increase the range of color that After Effects can see. He also shows how to change the color channels and explains what each change will do to the project.
